We want our users to explore the world together, and share incredible 3D scans that they have created with the Scaniverse community. To ensure we stay true to this mission and as we set out in our Terms of Service and Player Guidelines, we may review the content you post to Scaniverse, and we may take action if we believe it’s inappropriate.
The following guidelines supplement our Player Guidelines, and explain what is permissible to share on our platform and will help ensure that you and other users have a great experience on Scaniverse.
1 - Avoid Inappropriate, Offensive or Harassing Content
We may take action on content that is shocking or offensive, or promotes hatred or abuse of others. For instance:
- Hate speech or content that incites, promotes or justifies hatred, violence and discrimination again a person or a group of person
- Any NSFW content including sexually explicit or pornographic content.
- Content that promotes dangerous/illegal activity or facilitates transaction of prohibited goods, including weapons, firearms and drugs.
- Content that includes graphic imagery, gore or violence.
- Content that involves or promotes Self Harm.
2 - Content Involving Other People or Private Information
Please ensure that you have the consent of others who are identifiable in your scans before posting them. Additionally, we’ll remove any scans containing the personal information of others without their consent.
Please be aware of your surroundings and follow the rules and best practices in effect around you while scanning in public.
3 - Content Involving Minors
We understand that some users want to take scans of their children and share them with the community; and can do so at their discretion.
However, any content that sexualizes minors or promotes violence or abuse against minors is strictly prohibited in our platform.
4 - Content Owned by Others
Do not post Content that violates other’s intellectual property rights including copyrights or trademarks. This includes impersonation or false affiliation.
Please ensure that you read these guidelines carefully and adhere to them at all times. These guidelines may be updated or changed as needed, so we highly recommend you keep yourself updated.
If you violate our Guidelines, we may issue a warning, degrade your gameplay experience, suspend your account, or permanently terminate your account, sometimes without warning. Depending on the situation, these actions may be enforced across one, multiple or all of our products and services we offer; and you may no longer be allowed to create a new Scaniverse or Niantic account.
If you find content on Scaniverse that is in violation of these guidelines, please report it to us using the Report Scan button or by emailing support@scaniverse.com.
