At Scaniverse, we’re always working to make it easier for everyone to explore, capture, and share their world in 3D. This month, we’ve introduced two key updates for Android, expanding what’s possible on the app while making it accessible to even more people around the globe.
What’s new?
-
View your own scans in VR: People on Android devices can now connect their account with Into The Scaniverse (ITS) for Meta Quest. This means you can view your own scans on VR, see your likes, and experience everything from local landmarks to faraway treasures on your Quest (check out a few ideas of where to start!).
-
Japanese and German languages: Scaniverse is now available in Japanese and German, making it easier for our vibrant communities in Japan and Germany to navigate the app in their native languages. From capturing temples in Kyoto to exploring cityscapes in Berlin, these updates bring Scaniverse closer to home for even more people.
-
Japanese Scaniverse meetup: Don’t miss Scaniverse’s meetup in Kakegawa City on February 15 and 16!
Continuing to build for Android
We’re committed to supporting your creativity and exploration. Since the December update Android scanners have already made incredible contributions to the Scaniverse map. We'll continue sharing regular updates as we work through our roadmap to bring the Android scanning experience closer to the iOS app.
Whether you’re preserving cultural landmarks, sharing travel discoveries, or showcasing your artistic vision, these updates are designed to help you see and share the world in new ways.
Download or update the Android app and see what’s waiting to be discovered.
