Your enthusiasm to see your splats in VR inspires us and your great feedback on our Discord server means we have some updates for you.

Today, we launched the v1.1 update for Into The Scaniverse, introducing new UX and visual improvements as well as localization for Japanese and German in the Meta Quest app.

Explore the 3D globe in higher resolution.

Scanners truly enjoy the high-resolution 3D images they can make with just their mobile phone and so the world map got a little upgrade to match.

The topographical globe has been updated with a sharper, higher-resolution graphic treatment. The canvas texture and color palette make the experience of exploring the globe a distinct fantastical feeling.

You asked for it, and we delivered! We’ve added border outlines for every country on the globe to help you in navigate and find splats from your favorite countries. 

Map pins change color when visited.

Have you lost track of which splats you’ve visited and which you haven’t? Now, when you visit a splat, the color of the pin will become darker to help you keep track of your exploration across the globe!

Into The Scaniverse is now available in German and Japanese! The app’s interface and labels will now match your system language setting if it is set to German or Japanese.

Anyone can manually adjust their language options via the settings panel in the Into The Scaniverse Meta Quest app.
